The Most Holy Trinity - Year C - Trinity Sunday & “Laudate Dominum”

Last Sunday’s Psalm praises the Lord, saying ‘O Lord, our God, how majestic is your name in all the earth!’. In today’s Gospel (John 16:12-15), Jesus teaches us about the Trinity, that all that the Father has belongs to Jesus, and that the Spirit of Truth will guide us to the things to come.

In honour of this Psalm and Gospel, we’d like to share our latest video “Laudate Dominum”, a beautiful, sacred choral composition written by W.A. Mozart in 1780, and one of the movements from his Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (K.339). This song is based on Psalm 117 (O praise the Lord, all ye nations) and ends with the Gloria Patri (Glory to God) prayer.
