Pentecost Sunday - Year C - Pentecost & “Songs to the Holy Spirit”
In today’s Gospel (John 20:19-23), Jesus gives the blessing of peace and bestows his authority on the disciples as he confers on them the Holy Spirit. Jesus says, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you … Receive the Holy Spirit.”
