22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Everything Worthwhile Comes from God & “8 Beloved Communion Songs”

In this Sunday’s Second Reading (Jas. 1:17-18), Saint James reminds us that everything worthwhile comes from God, and “…every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.

Jesus adds to this in the Gospel (Mark 7:21-23) saying, “Listen to me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a person that by going in can defile them, but the things that come out of a person are what defile them.

In honour of these Bible passages, we would like to share our latest video, “Music of the Mass | 8 Beloved Communion Songs” that highlight the gift of the Eucharist from the Father and the Son from above. This video also features a new version of ‘Supper of the Lord’ with violin, and the premiere of ‘One Bread, One Body’, a well known hymn sung at our Parish.
