13th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Healing Jairus’ Daughter & “O Lord, Hear My Prayer”

In this weekend’s Gospel (Mark 5:21-43), Jesus overcomes the death of Jairus’ daughter and, on the way to visiting her, also heals the ailment of the woman with the hemorrhage.

Jairus, one of the synagogue leaders, falls at Jesus’ feet and begs him to, “Come, lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and live.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, ‘O Lord, Hear My Prayer’, a beautiful meditation from the Taizé community that is based on Psalm 102:1-2, "Hear my prayer, Lord; let my cry for help come to you... Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly."
