15th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Jesus Sends Out the Twelve & “Journeysong”

In this weekend’s Gospel (Mark 6:7-13), Jesus sends out the twelve disciples, instructing them to take only a staff to preach the gospel. “So the twelve went out and proclaimed that all should repent. They cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, ‘Journeysong’, a gathering hymn sung at our Parish that focuses on the themes of unity, journey and discipleship. The song is also based on the Emmaus story (Luke 24), so see if you can notice how the verses retell that Easter miracle.
