12th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Jesus Calms the Storm and “Be Not Afraid”

In this weekend’s Gospel (Mark 4:35-41), a great storm arises as Jesus and his disciples are out on the sea. The boat is being swamped by raging waters while Jesus is asleep in the stern, so his fearful disciples wake him up. Jesus says to the sea, “Peace! Be Still!”. Then to his disciples, “Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?
