3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year A - Follow Me (To The Sea)
In this Sunday’s Gospel (Mt. 4:12-23), by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus called Peter, Andrew, James and John to become fishers of people. After hearing him, “…immediately, they left their nets and followed him.” Jesus and his new disciples then went throughout Galilee, teaching in synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom.
In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, "Follow Me (To The Sea)", a folk-style hymn about discipleship.
‘Follow Me’ was written by Ray Repp, one of the first artists to employ folk music within Catholic liturgical music. While clearly not neglecting vertical theology in his compositions, Repp was a major proponent of horizontal theology (i.e. emphasis on social justice themes and 'love of neighbor') in Christian music.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend with friends and family!
