6th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year C - Sermon on the Mount & “Lead Me, Lord”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 6:17-26), Jesus with the twelve speaks to a great crowd of people from Judea, Jerusalem and the coast of Tyre and Sidon, telling them that happiness and blessing are the rewards of those who accept the Gospel and the Saviour.

Jesus says, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God… Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for surely your reward is great in heaven.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video ‘Lead Me, Lord’, a hymn that is a perfect complement to the Beatitudes given by Jesus at the Sermon on the Mount.
