5th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year C - Fishermen Called as Disciples & “Lord, You Have Come”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 5:1-11), Jesus gets into a boat belonging to Simon on the lake of Gennesaret and starts teaching the crowds. After he finishes, Peter confesses that he is a sinful man but Jesus says, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.” When the fishermen had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed Jesus.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video ‘Lord, You Have Come (to the Seashore)’, a hymn (also known as 'Fisher of Men' or 'Pescador de Hombres') that is a perfect complement to this reading.
