32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - The Poor Widow and “Collection of Offertory Hymns”

In this weekend’s Gospel (Mark 12:41-44), Jesus teaches his disciples that while the wealthy contribute much to the offertory collection from their surplus, the two coins from the widow are of more value before God. Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more … For all of them have contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, “Music of the Mass: Offertory Hymns”, eight (8) beautiful songs that have been used by churches around the world as offertory hymns during Mass and worship services.
