29th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Holy Rosary Month and “Servant Song”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Mark 10:42-45), Jesus reminds his disciples that anyone who aspires to greatness must be prepared to serve first, and that the Son of Man has come to serve. He says, “Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all.

The month of October is also dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. On October 7, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in honor of the Blessed Mother. October was also the month in which Mary appeared for the last time to shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, urging them to "say the rosary every day to obtain peace for the world."

In honour of this Gospel and the Month of the Holy Rosary, we would like to share our latest video, “Servant Song”, a beautiful hymn by Sr. Donna Marie McGargill. This version has all 5 verses of the song, including the Marian 5th verse.
