1st Sunday of Lent - Year C - Jesus in the Wilderness & “Again We Keep This Solemn Fast”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 4:1-13), Jesus was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, “…where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.” Jesus is fully human and overcomes temptation because as the Messiah, he will not resort to expediency.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video ‘Again We Keep This Solemn Fast’, a traditional Lenten hymn that is sung in parishes throughout the world during this Lenten season.
