Christmas Eve - Year B - An Early Christmas Present: “O Magnum Mysterium”

On the morning of Christmas Eve, we wanted to share an extra video with you. “O Magnum Mysterium” is a motet for choir composed by Morten Lauridsen. He set the text of "O magnum mysterium", a Gregorian chant for Christmas, in 1994 and while normally sung a cappella, we decided to sing the motet with our very talented accompanist.

Our hope is that this beautiful song helps get you in the right frame of mind to truly appreciate the great mystery that is the Lord’s birth, and remember that Christ truly is the reason for the season.
