6th Sunday of Easter - Year B - Love One Another & “Ave Maria”

In this weekend’s Gospel (John 15:9-17), Jesus says to his disciples, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

As we continue through the month of May (dedicated to Mary) and also celebrate Mother’s Day weekend around the world, we present our latest music video, ‘Ave Maria’ by Franz Schubert, with the solo sung by our Parish’s very own Tatjana Smrekar.

This is one of the best known musical settings of the ‘Hail Mary’ prayer to our Blessed Mother, who loves us and faithfully followed God’s commandment to bear His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
