2nd Sunday of Easter - Year C - Doubting Thomas & “O Sons and Daughters”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (John 20:19-31), the Apostle Thomas refused to believe the resurrected Jesus had appeared to the ten other apostles until he could see and feel Jesus' crucifixion wounds.

When Thomas finally sees Jesus, he answers, “My Lord and my God!” to which Jesus replies, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.

In honour of this Gospel, we’d like to share our latest video “O Sons and Daughters”, a beautiful traditional hymn. We start on verse 4 where the story of 'Doubting Thomas' begins.
