27th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year B - Sacrament of Marriage and “Ubi Caritas”

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Mark 10:2-16), the Pharisees test Jesus about divorce, but Jesus reminds them of God’s intention for the unity of marriage. Jesus says, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, “Ubi Caritas”, a beautiful hymn whose refrain translates to “Where charity and love are found, there God is,” and whose verses speak to the joining of all of us in Christ.

We are presenting this hymn in 3 different musical settings: a Taizé setting by Jacques Berthier, a Gregorian Chant (Mode VI version), and a hymn version by Bob Hurd (arranged by Craig Kingsbury).
